Before you move ...
- Make arrangements for your new keys to be collected and
old ones dropped off.
- Stop bread, milk, and newspaper deliveries.
- Disconnection of telephone and re-connection at new residence.
- Disconnection of electricity and gas and re-connection
at new residence.
- Advise council.
- Advise electoral office.
- Complete change of address form with Australia Post.
- Cancel house insurance and arrange for cover of new house.
- Advise life insurance office.
- Advise bank of new address.
- Advise schools.
- Advise Dept of Planning and Infrastructure for car registration,
licenses etc.

- Return anything borrowed from neighbours.
- Return library books.
- Dispose of all items you have decided not to take including
garden chemicals, paint, mower fuel etc.
- Notify all those people and organisations that may have
a reason to contact you: Clubs, friends and relatives,
solicitors, accountants, stock brokers, subscriptions, dentists
and doctors and associations.
